How about Caddy Allante?
The poster child for transverse V8 is always the Impala SS in my mind.

No SHO though, that’s a 6..... oops I see the third gen was a V8. Wow didn’t know that, good find. (I did have to cheat and consult the Wikipedia)

Buick Lacross

Volvo XC90
Are we including mid engined cars? Because this list gets much bigger with them included.

Transverse U8 (not V8) that never got beyond prototype, there was a Matra Bagheera.

Lancia Thema 8.32
Volvo S80
Volvo XC90
Ford Taurus SHO (the one that nobody likes)
Lincoln Continental (the one that’s actually a Taurus)
Chevy Impala SS
Chevy Monte Carlo SS?
Pontiac Grand Prix GXP
Buick LaCrosse Super (I think that’s all of the LS4s? Or was it a Lucerne, not a LaCrosse?)
Cadillac Allante
Cadillac Eldorado and variants (I think that’s basically ETC?)
Cadillac Seville and variants (SLS and STS?) - also, I’m counting multiple generations here, the HT-4100s are accounted for by this.
Cadillac Deville and variants (DTS?)
Cadillac XTS
Oldsmobile Aurora I think had a N*, too?
Ariel Atom RST V8 (and the engine is in the back this time)
I feel like some Ferrari, maybe the Mondial or something, was transverse V8?
Cizeta-Moroder was TWO transverse V8s sharing a crankshaft. OK, that’s cheating, except it really was designed as two V8s - the firing order would be different if it were a true V16.
And I think that’s it.

Huh. The normal I4 in the Bagheera was transverse, so why the crap did they change for the U4? I didn’t know that - thought I’d seen a pic in transverse...

That’s pretty cool, I didn’t even know they made the SHO in that gen of Taurus, let alone that it was a V8. I thought they were all 6's, with the earlier ones having the Yamaha heads.

Urraco
Silhouette
Jalpa
